The State Budget and Accounting Course (Course CEP-242)

This three-day program is primarily designed as an orientation for newly assigned managers, supervisors, and foremen. However, it is for anyone who works with the State Budget and Accounting process. Each session is taught by an expert in the subject area who can answer questions with authority. This course will guide you through each area of the Budget and Accounting Manual to help you fully understand the entire budget and accounting process. (This does not fulfill the state ERP Financials project Governmental Accounting requirements.)

This course is managed by the Office of Management and Budget's Human Resources Management Program and will be offered in two sets:

• February 26, March 4 and 11, 2008 (three consecutive Tuesdays)
  
• April 1, 8, & 15, 2008 (three consecutive Tuesdays)

All classes are held from 8:30 AM to 4 PM at the U of D Paradee Center, Dover.

Directions:

from the North: take State Route 1 south thru the DOVER Toll Booth ($1) to Exit #95 (to I-10 and Dover AFB North Gate). Make a right the end of the deceleration ramp. At the SECOND medium crossover make a left (onto Transportation Circle) and the U of D Paradee Bldg sits on the left. As a land mark, the DelDOT Administration Building is on the same side of Route 113 and is across the highway from the Blue Hen Corporate Center (the old mall).

from the South: take State Route 1 & 113 north past the Main Gate for Dover AFB. Take the next exit (Exit #95) and go straight thru three traffic lights. At the SECOND medium crossover past that third traffic light, make a left (onto Transportation Circle) and the U of D Paradee Bldg sits immediately on the left. As a land mark, the DelDOT Administration Building is on the same side of Route 113 and is across the highway from the Blue Hen Corporate Center (the old mall).
